They are also the hands that I have held during many happy moments, and a few sad ones. They are the same hands that held the hand of my dying brother-in-law, although she barely knew him. Most notable is the fact that they are the hands that have joined mine in times of prayer & devotion.
I praise God for a godly wife and I echo the words found in Proverbs 31:29-31, "Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates."
